Here's some great activities to check out!

Monday, August 25 – In the Park after Dark, Silverwood Park, 7–9 p.m. Discover the fascinating things that go on outside after dark. Under a new moon, gaze on planets, constellations, and galaxies. Learn the history and folklore surrounding them. Telescope and binoculars provided. 

Wednesday, August 27 – Lake Minnetonka Family Cruise – Brownies and Bingo, Lake Minnetonka Regional Park, 10-11:30 a.m. Come aboard an Al and Alma’s Charter Cruise boat. Enjoy brownies and refreshments while the captain and crew share stories of Lake Minnetonka, point out beautiful estates, and navigate shores, channels, bays and islands. Search for signature wildlife while playing a game of nature bingo. Reservations required.

Sunday, September 7 – Family 3D Archery Shoot and Fun Day, Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement, 2–5:30 p.m. Bring the entire family for an afternoon of 3D archery. Two courses (beginner and advanced) will run through the forest of Baker. Participate in other family activities such as rock climbing, geocaching, American Indian skills, arts and crafts, and more. Register online. 

Sunday, September 21 – Progressive Campfire Cookout, Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement, 4-6:30 p.m. Bring your friends and family for a unique dining experience. The entire meal — from appetizers to desserts — is prepared outside over the campfire. Cook and eat your way from one campfire ring to the next during this hands-on wilderness feast. Reservations required, by phone only; call 763.559.6700.
